Build a small, playable browser game inspired by "Campaign Trail" (Platformer). Concept: A hilarious 2D romp through British politics. Tech: use Phaser; keep it to a single page that loads instantly with no login or install. Controls: touch controls (tap/drag) that work on a phone plus keyboard and mouse on desktop, shown on a short how-to-play screen. Players: single-player. Steps: 1) get the core mechanic playable with placeholder shapes, 2) add win/lose conditions and restart, 3) polish feel, visuals and sound, 4) add your own twist (setting, character or one new rule). Make it your own: don't copy the original's name, art, text or code.
Remix notes (our suggestions, not the creator's)
Campaign Trail is a Phaser platformer pitched as a hilarious 2D romp through British politics, and it's marked mobile-ready. Satire plus platforming is a fun pairing: jumps, enemies and power-ups can all become jokes about the theme. Remix idea (our suggestion): keep the satirical platformer format and point it at a different world you know well, like office life, school, startup culture or your own hometown. Make each enemy and pickup a recognisable joke, and keep it affectionate rather than mean. Prompting tip: ask your AI tool for a basic platformer with coyote time and jump buffering (they make jumps feel fair), then add enemies one joke at a time. Keep dialogue in a separate text file so you can rewrite punchlines without touching code. Add on-screen touch controls early, since the original targets phones too.
