Build a small, playable browser game inspired by "Chroma" (Puzzle). Concept: Find the right combination for your color. Tech: use Vanilla JS / Canvas; keep it to a single page that loads instantly with no login or install. Controls: touch controls (tap/drag) that work on a phone plus keyboard and mouse on desktop, shown on a short how-to-play screen. Players: single-player. Steps: 1) get the core mechanic playable with placeholder shapes, 2) add win/lose conditions and restart, 3) polish feel, visuals and sound, 4) add your own twist (setting, character or one new rule). Make it your own: don't copy the original's name, art, text or code.
Remix notes (our suggestions, not the creator's)
Chroma is a Vanilla JS / Canvas puzzle game with a neat pitch: find the right combination for your color. It's mobile-ready and wonderfully minimal. Colour mixing is something everyone understands, and a little hard to get exactly right, which is perfect puzzle territory. Remix idea (our suggestion): keep the mixing core but add a constraint. Limit the number of pours, add a timer, or make players match colours from real things like a sunset or a fruit. A daily target colour shared by everyone could make it a nice ritual. Prompting tip: ask your AI tool to mix colours in a perceptual space (like OKLab) rather than plain RGB, so blends look the way players expect. Show a 'how close' score as a percentage and a side-by-side swatch. Small, readable feedback is what makes a pure-colour game satisfying.
