Build a small, playable browser game inspired by "InternetExplorer" (Trivia). Concept: how well do you know the internet?. Tone/hook (from the game's own page): How well do you know the Internet? Identify old websites from Wayback Machine screenshots and guess what year they. Tech: use Vanilla JS / Canvas; keep it to a single page that loads instantly with no login or install. Controls: touch controls (tap/drag) that work on a phone plus keyboard and mouse on desktop, shown on a short how-to-play screen. Players: single-player. Core loop: include a visible score, a timer or round clock, an optional local high-score table, progress saved in localStorage. Audio: add simple sound effects and music (start audio on the first click/tap). Steps: 1) get the core mechanic playable with placeholder shapes, 2) add win/lose conditions and restart, 3) polish feel, visuals and sound, 4) add your own twist (setting, character or one new rule). Make it your own: don't copy the original's name, art, text or code.
Remix notes (our suggestions, not the creator's)
InternetExplorer is a Vanilla JS / Canvas trivia game with a cheeky question: how well do you know the internet? It's mobile-ready, and internet culture is a rich, fast-changing topic people love to argue about. Remix idea (our suggestion): keep the 'how well do you know…' format and pick a narrower, deeper topic. Classic memes by year, old website designs, or famous error pages would all make great rounds. Or switch the format to 'higher or lower' instead of multiple choice. Prompting tip: ask your AI tool to keep questions in a separate JSON file and to show a short explanation after each answer. Fact-check every question yourself, because internet history is full of myths. Add a streak counter and a shareable result. Trivia games spread when people want to beat their friends' scores.
