Build a small, playable browser game inspired by "Junkyard Wars" (Racing). Concept: Charming wreckage racing. Tone/hook (from the game's own page): A multiplayer kart racer in a charming junkyard. Built for the 2026 Vibe Jam. Tech: use Three.js; keep it to a single page that loads instantly with no login or install. Controls: keyboard and mouse on desktop, shown on a short how-to-play screen. Players: single-player. Core loop: include a visible score, a timer or round clock, progress saved in localStorage. Audio: add simple sound effects and music (start audio on the first click/tap). Steps: 1) get the core mechanic playable with placeholder shapes, 2) add win/lose conditions and restart, 3) polish feel, visuals and sound, 4) add your own twist (setting, character or one new rule). Make it your own: don't copy the original's name, art, text or code.
Remix notes (our suggestions, not the creator's)
Junkyard Wars is a Three.js racing game with a charming pitch: Charming wreckage racing. It's a lovely contrast, crashing and wreckage made cute rather than grim, and it suggests a game where falling apart is part of the fun. Remix idea (our suggestion): keep the joyful destruction and add a build step. Players could bolt together a vehicle from scrap before each race, then watch it shed parts as they go. Or make the race a demolition derby where the last car moving wins. Prompting tip: ask your AI tool for vehicles made of a few separate parts that can break off, simple arcade driving, and a short race loop. Keep the physics forgiving so crashes are funny, not frustrating. Bright colours and bouncy sound effects will keep the tone charming. Add a replay of the best crash at the end.
