Build a small, playable browser game inspired by "Little Universe Sandbox" (Educational).
Concept: Chromebook/Toaster friendly Universe sandbox.
Tech: use plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript (or a lightweight engine you know); keep it to a single page that loads instantly with no login or install.
Controls: keyboard and mouse on desktop, shown on a short how-to-play screen.
Players: single-player.
Steps: 1) get the core mechanic playable with placeholder shapes, 2) add win/lose conditions and restart, 3) polish feel, visuals and sound, 4) add your own twist (setting, character or one new rule).
Make it your own: don't copy the original's name, art, text or code.

Little Universe Sandbox is tagged Educational and pitched as a Chromebook- and toaster-friendly universe sandbox. That second part is the real design goal. Plenty of students only have low-power laptops, and a space sandbox that runs well on them is useful. Remix idea (our suggestion): keep the lightweight sandbox and pick a different system to play with. Ecosystems with predators and prey, weather on a tiny planet, or chemistry with simple molecules would all teach through tinkering. Prompting tip: ask your AI tool for a 2D canvas simulation with a fixed timestep, a cap on the number of objects, and a pause and step button so learners can watch things slowly. Show one or two live numbers, like total energy or population. Test on the slowest device you can find, because that's who this kind of game is for.
