Build a small, playable browser game inspired by "Missile Command" (Action, Shooter, Arcade). Concept: Classic Arcade Game. Tone/hook (from the game's own page): Play Missile Command, the classic arcade game, free in your browser. Defend your cities from incoming missiles with strategic counter-attacks across escalating waves. Tech: use Vanilla JS / Canvas; keep it to a single page that loads instantly with no login or install. Controls: touch controls (tap/drag) that work on a phone plus keyboard and mouse on desktop, shown on a short how-to-play screen. Players: single-player. Core loop: include a visible score, progress saved in localStorage. Steps: 1) get the core mechanic playable with placeholder shapes, 2) add win/lose conditions and restart, 3) polish feel, visuals and sound, 4) add your own twist (setting, character or one new rule). Make it your own: don't copy the original's name, art, text or code.
Remix notes (our suggestions, not the creator's)
Missile Command here is a Vanilla JS / Canvas take on the classic arcade game, tagged Action, Shooter and Arcade and marked mobile-ready. The original's design still holds up: defend cities from falling threats, aim ahead, and decide which city you can't save. Remix idea (our suggestion): keep 'defend from above' and change the theme or the tool. Protect a garden from falling hail, a sandcastle from waves, or a city from meteors using shields instead of missiles. Keep the hard choice about what to protect. Prompting tip: ask your AI tool for tap-to-target controls, explosions that grow and fade, and waves that ramp up in speed and number. Show the cities you've saved between waves. Use your own art and name so it's clearly your game, inspired by the classic rather than copying it.
