Build a small, playable browser game inspired by "Roninfall" (Action, Platformer). Concept: Super Crate Box meets Towerfall. Tech: use Phaser; keep it to a single page that loads instantly with no login or install. Controls: keyboard and mouse on desktop, shown on a short how-to-play screen. Multiplayer: the original is listed as multiplayer. Start with a local or bot opponent, then add online play (e.g. WebSockets) once the core loop is fun. Steps: 1) get the core mechanic playable with placeholder shapes, 2) add win/lose conditions and restart, 3) polish feel, visuals and sound, 4) add your own twist (setting, character or one new rule). Make it your own: don't copy the original's name, art, text or code.
Remix notes (our suggestions, not the creator's)
Roninfall is a Phaser action platformer with a clear pitch: Super Crate Box meets TowerFall. It's multiplayer. Both games it references are about tight arenas and twitchy, high-stakes action, so the mash-up promises fast rounds where one mistake ends it. Remix idea (our suggestion): keep the single-screen arena and change the weapon rules. Every weapon could have one use, weapons could swap randomly every ten seconds, or the arena could shrink each round. A samurai theme suits one-hit fights, but cooking utensils or paint guns could be just as fun. Prompting tip: ask your AI tool for a tight platformer controller (coyote time, jump buffering), one-hit kills, and instant round restarts. Local multiplayer on one keyboard or with gamepads is the fastest way to test. Keep rounds under a minute. Arena games thrive on 'one more round'.
